  None (edit)
Description Dmitri Pal 2012-11-27 09:09:50 EST
This bug is created as a clone of upstream ticket:
https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa/ticket/3270

In FreeIPA 2.2, the default for group type was 'POSIX', in 3.0 it's 'normal' (non-posix).

CLI's default is 'POSIX', Web UI should use 'POSIX' as well.
Comment 1 Petr Vobornik 2012-11-29 03:47:53 EST
Fixed upstream:

 * ipa-3-0: 51c2d666630dc1450e32a27d023a45dd62d3b49d WebUI: Change of default value of type of new group back to POSIX
 * master: 730a5005676d6fb2639690f392420c5c876c5a32 WebUI: Change of default value of type of new group back to POSIX
Comment 4 Namita Soman 2013-01-28 19:45:08 EST
Verified using ipa-server-3.0.0-23.el6.x86_64

steps taken:
In UI - add a group
Default radiobutton chosen is POSIX
