Description of problem: I have a presentation that I produce in the form of a PDF using pdflatex. The LaTeX makes use of transparent.sty. When I try to view the PDF using evince, evince does not display it correctly. Old versions of evince (Fedora 16, I think) worked fine. Run pdflatex to process the attached demo.tex 2. Run evince demo.pdf Actual results: Evince does not display the PDF properly. This is still a problem with the evince in Fedora 19, evince-3.8.3-1.fc19.x86_64. Evince seems to ignore the transparency created by using "\transparent{X}" in LaTeX.
