Registered using up2date, downloaded a kernel update. Kernel-2.4.20-8 then causes kernel panic on boot on this system (worked fine on a Dell Latitude C610). Reverted to 2.4.20-6 until issue resolved. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-2.4.20-8 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Reinstalled RH 9 2. 3. Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists.
