Fedora is migrating away from: /etc/sysconfig/network (the HOSTNAME=... setting) /etc/sysconfig/keyboard /etc/sysconfig/i18n to: /etc/hostname /etc/vconsole.conf /etc/locale.conf See the tracker bug 881785 for details. We found in hostname/hostname.1: The host name is usually set once at system startup in .I /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit (normally by reading the contents of a file which contains the host name, e.g. .IR /etc/sysconfig/network ). This isn't correct anymore. rc.sysinit does not exist. The hostname is set by systemd itself. And it's read from /etc/hostname. Please update the package for the new config files.
