Description of problem: See steps to reproduce. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. On a host with a long list of VMs, select a VM, then scroll down till it's not visible. 2. When the page refreshes, the list 'jumps' back to make that selected VM visible. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Do not move the current position Additional info:
(In reply to comment #0) > Expected results: > Do not move the current position Why? This is common behavior for many application. Going back to the selected item on a refresh request. Unless you are referring to the auto-refresh of the VM list and not a manual refresh of the browser page.

I am refrering (of course) to the auto-refresh.
my hunch is that it doesn't happen only in the VMs main grid, but in all main grids, and probably in sub-tab grids as well (if they have enough items in them).
Code fix available here: http://gerrit.ovirt.org/10672
Created attachment 731899 [details] animated gif showing IE behavior sf13, it still jumps back to selected item in IE (tested in w2k8r2 and w2k12). Firefox in rhel6 is OK.
I can reproduce it all the time with IE10 on win7. I can make it happen sometimes in Chrome on Fedora17. Unable to reproduce in IE9 or 8, nor on FF in any VM I tried.
OK, sf16.1 (ie9, ie10, ff; ie8 not supported for admin portal but looks OK).
3.2 has been released
