Thanks for filing this bug report.

Looking at attachment 660076 [details], I see what appears to be an infinite recursion running out of stack space running in uim-scm-sigscheme.c whilst processing gtk_entry_preedit_changed_cb.  This sounds familiar, I think we saw a bug like this about a week ago, so it may well be a duplicate.

Reassigning from "python" to "uim"
