KDE, firewall-applet hover mouse over the icon and see that you are in zone for.ex: PUBLIC 2. change your Zone of Connection to WORK 3. hover the mouse over icon again and see that its not changed, there are still the old zone Actual results: terminal output: It looks like that zone is somehow recognized in the text output by not in the GUI applet: nm-connection-editor:6360): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_toplevel: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed (nm-connection-editor:6360): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_toplevel: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed 'work' Expected results: zone is recognized Additional info:
btw `firewall-cmd --get-active-zone` says the the right current zone = WORK
