Description of problem:
I have attempted to send out a word file in attachment to a mail using
the Mozilla software included in the Red-Hat release 8.0; the file arrives at
receipient unreadable. I have no problems receiving attachments, or sending
other kinds of attachments.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a word file,Microsoft word 97/XP/2000
2.attach to mail
Actual Results: the attachment arrives corrupted (ie unreadable)
Have you tried this with a more recent Mozilla version? There were some
corruption issues a while ago, and they may have been in the 1.0 series.
Red Hat Linux is no longer supported by Red Hat, Inc. If you are still
running Red Hat Linux, you are strongly advised to upgrade to a
current Fedora Core release or Red Hat Enterprise Linux or comparable.
Some information on which option may be right for you is available at
Red Hat apologizes that these issues have not been resolved yet. We do
want to make sure that no important bugs slip through the cracks.
If this issue is still present in a current Fedora Core release, please
open a new bug with the relevant information.
