Description of problem: Problem showing the line numbers in editor, when comparing two files. Dependency on gtksourceview and pygtksourceview. After i installed gtksourceview, I also had to install pygtksourceview. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): * meld-1.7.0-1.fc17.noarch How reproducible: Install meld with yum install meld. Then install package yum install gtksourceview. Show line numbers will be greyed out in Preferences. After you install pygtksourceview, the Display options are available. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install meld 2. Install gtksourceview 3. Install pygtksourceview
I noticed it will also add syntax highlighting to files. Useful. Please note adding Require: pygtksourceview is enough to drag in both.
Confirmed, working on an update, stay tuned.
