If you run yum distro-sync --enablerepo=updates-testing as root do you get any mate package updates? How did you install originally?
Hi, today I got mate updates, and after logging in again I had no abrt reports: Interestingly, the only mate packages were: Dec 21 09:16:05 Updated: mate-panel-1.5.2-5.fc18.x86_64 Dec 21 09:16:06 Updated: mate-panel-libs-1.5.2-5.fc18.x86_64 Dec 21 09:17:54 Updated: imsettings-mate-1.5.1-2.fc18.x86_64 I installed mate via yum groupinstall "Mate Desktop"
Awesome. I'll consider this fixed. Please use @mate for 18 and onwards.
Dan, just nitpicking. group install XXX is considered to be the same than install @XXX. According to your statement above, will this change? Right now it would pull the same packages. BTW, it would pull nautilus (?) and sendmail (? I have postfix installed and running...)
It changed in Fedora 18. No it wouldn't pull nautlius and sendmail. yum groupinstall @mate and yum install @mate should have the same effect.
Well, then this is probably another bugzilla? yum install @mate pulls totem-nautilus.x86_64 yum group install "Mate Desktop" additionally pulls sendmail.x86_64
I just updated comps for 16,17,18 and 19. Please open a separate bug against mate-desktop (and a separate bug for each version of Fedora) going forward.
