libglib-2.0.a has undefined references, for example nm /usr/lib64/libglib-2.0.a | grep glib_quark__new_semaphore U glib_quark__new_semaphore On the glib build these are defined in glib_probes.o, but they are not included in the .a. I was able to build a working libglib-2.0.a by passing --disable-dtrace.
