Description Aleksandar Kostadinov 2012-12-21 19:59:35 UTC
/dev/dvd device is not present in fedora. A link is widely expected by media players just like /dev/cdrom

Comment 1 Harald Hoyer 2013-01-03 15:43:15 UTC
We will not provide symlinks for all kind of drive variants. Modern media players can query the udev database about the drive capabilities or query the drive on its own.
