Description of problem: SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/mv from 'relabelfrom' accesses on the file xdg-screensaver-stefan--0. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests *************************** If sie denken, dass es mv standardmässig erlaubt sein sollte, relabelfrom Zugriff auf xdg-screensaver-stefan--0 file zu erhalten. Then sie sollten dies als Fehler melden. Um diesen Zugriff zu erlauben, können Sie ein lokales Richtlinien-Modul erstellen. Do zugriff jetzt erlauben, indem Sie die nachfolgenden Befehle ausführen: # grep mv /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context unconfined_u:unconfined_r:mozilla_plugin_t:s0-s0:c 0.c1023 Target Context unconfined_u:object_r:mozilla_plugin_tmp_t:s0 Target Objects xdg-screensaver-stefan--0 [ file ] Source mv Source Path /usr/bin/mv Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages coreutils-8.17-7.fc18.x86_64 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.11.1-66.fc18.noarch Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 3.6.11-3.fc18.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Dec 17 21:35:39 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 2 First Seen 2012-12-22 20:31:21 CET Last Seen 2012-12-22 20:31:21 CET Local ID 78195b4e-1636-4ad3-863b-78c42db6c295 Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1356204681.637:393): avc: denied { relabelfrom } for pid=1610 comm="mv" name="xdg-screensaver-stefan--0" dev="tmpfs" ino=78521 scontext=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:mozilla_plugin_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tcontext=unconfined_u:object_r:mozilla_plugin_tmp_t:s0 tclass=file type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1356204681.637:393): arch=x86_64 syscall=fsetxattr success=no exit=EACCES a0=8 a1=7fff8612cb80 a2=1da0a00 a3=2e items=0 ppid=1602 pid=1610 auid=1000 uid=1000 gid=1000 euid=1000 suid=1000 fsuid=1000 egid=1000 sgid=1000 fsgid=1000 tty=(none) ses=2 comm=mv exe=/usr/bin/mv subj=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:mozilla_plugin_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 key=(null) Hash: mv,mozilla_plugin_t,mozilla_plugin_tmp_t,file,relabelfrom audit2allow #============= mozilla_plugin_t ============== allow mozilla_plugin_t mozilla_plugin_tmp_t:file relabelfrom; audit2allow -R #============= mozilla_plugin_t ============== allow mozilla_plugin_t mozilla_plugin_tmp_t:file relabelfrom; Additional info: hashmarkername: setroubleshoot kernel: 3.6.11-3.fc18.x86_64 type: libreport
Did you notice anything going wrong or did everything seem to work?
Also got this SE alert twice, on 7/Oct and today (15/Oct). I have no idea about what caused it. It is difficult to diagnose as I have loads of Firefox windows and tabs open and about 10 extensions and plugins.

This message is a reminder that Fedora 18 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 18. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '18'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 18's end of life. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 18 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 18's end of life. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete.
selinux-policy-3.11.1-108.fc18 has been pushed to the Fedora 18 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
