Running kernel 3.6.11 and no Xorg.conf in use. Attempted the nomodeset option, but that leaves the screen frozen at loading initramfs text. Attached both Xorg.0.log and dmesg output after logging with debug level 14 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Attempt boot into fedora 18 2. 3. Actual results: Boot processes is "stuck" at "Started Graphical Interface" or another "Started" message. Alt + F2 is the only option left to use the command line boot Expected results: Expect to reach graphical login screen Additional info:

This message is a reminder that Fedora 18 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 18.
