Description of problem: While it is not always reproducible calling systemctl stop NetworkManager .service ended up for me with Jan 3 15:25:25 vaiop systemd-tmpfiles[1579]: stat(/run/user/covex/gvfs) failed: Permission denied Jan 3 15:25:26 vaiop systemd[1]: Assertion 'endswith(path, ".service")' failed at src/core/service.c:1012, function service_load_sysv_name(). Aborting. Jan 3 15:25:26 vaiop systemd[1]: Caught <ABRT>, dumped core as pid 1583. Jan 3 15:25:26 vaiop systemd[1]: Freezing execution. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): systemd-44-21.fc17.i686
In F18 this has been fixed since systemd-195-10.fc18. I need to pick a similar set of backports to F17.
