Description of problem: System without ethernet connection, only wireless. After select language(English), system asked for network. When I click on quit and than cancel, system quit anyway. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora18 TC4 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. boot netinstall iso 2. select language, on network selection click on Quit 3. Click on Cancel Actual results: reboot Expected results: return to installation Additional info:
I can confirm that on the Network Spoke, if one presses 'quit' the subsequent "cancel/quit" will not work as expected. ('cancel' will behave as 'quit'). I tried the same on the Welcome Screen and the issue did not happen there. Tested with smoke14 (18.37.10)
+1 NTH, patch sent to anaconda-patches, updates image for F18 RC1: http://rvykydal.fedorapeople.org/updates.snquit.img
Discussed at 2013-01-07 QA meeting acting as an NTH review meeting: http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-meeting/2013-01-07/fedora-qa.2013-01-07-16.01.log.txt . Accepted as NTH as this is an obvious installer fail and the fix seems safe and restricted in impact.
