This is probably corruption, please make sure you are running btrfs-progs from git.kernel.org and then run btrfsck on your device.  If it complains run btrfsck --repair on the device and see if that fixes the problem.  If not please file a bugzilla at bugzilla.kernel.org and set the component to btrfs.
