+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #882812 +++ Currently, any changes done by user to the gluster cluster from the gluster cli doesn't get reflected in the GUI. Introduce a mechanism to automatically detect any changes performed using CLI and sync the same with the engine DB. This is going to be implemented in the clusters tab.
Deferring for 3.2 -- the reason is because it is out of the RHEV docs scope to explain performing tasks using the Gluster CLI. The plan is to have the commands fully documented in the RHS guides, and add a note in the RHEV guides referring to the available commands, and the way they present in the RHEV UI. The only slightly related content to this issue is in the section about importing gluster clusters to RHEV, in which the "gluster peer status" command is executed on the CLI and then its status is reflected in the admin portal UI. But it's not really the same thing. http://documentation-devel.engineering.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.2/html/Administration_Guide/Importing_an_Existing_Cluster_Using_Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization_Manager.html
