Description of problem:

I tried installing a Ubuntu 12.10 (64bits) in gnome-boxes on F18. I selected the first option to use the whole (virtual) disk but the installer wasn't happy as the root partition was too small. As you can see on this screenshot, the swap was way too big and the / too small.

I configured the VM to use 4 Go of memory.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

libosinfo-0.2.1-1.fc18.x86_64
gnome-boxes-3.6.2-1.fc18.x86_64

Recommended disk space has been changed to 15G (rather than 5G) so that should solve your problem. Also, I wont recommend adding swap if memory is already 4G.

This is in MODIFIED, but I can't tell... is this fixed in boxes or libosinfo, and is the fix upstream only or F18?

Comment 3 Cole Robinson 2013-02-12 16:15:33 UTC
Figuring that this is 'fixed' as of Jan 7 (comment #2) and libosinfo was rebased in F18 a week later I'm just gonna assume this is fixed, please reopen if I'm wrong.
