Description of problem: systemd commands have an annoying tendency to crop text and thus make it unreadable. While some commands allow the user to get rid of this behavior after extensive searching in their man pages, systemd-inhibit seems to not allow it at all. The text is always cropped and there's no way to disable it. What is the output good for, when I can't read it? > $ systemd-inhibit --list > WHAT WHO WHY MODE UID PID > handle-power-key:handle-suspend-key:handle-hibernate-key kparal GNOME handlin...sses block 1000 1175 > handle-power-key:handle-suspend-key:handle-hibernate-key gamer GNOME handlin...sses block 1002 2057 > sleep gamer GNOME needs t...reen delay 1002 2057 > sleep kparal GNOME needs t...reen delay 1000 1175 > > 4 inhibitors listed. This is fixed in git: $ systemd-inhibit Who: lennart (UID 500, PID 1276) What: sleep Why: GNOME needs to lock the screen Mode: delay Who: lennart (UID 500, PID 1276) What: handle-power-key:handle-suspend-key:handle-hibernate-key Why: GNOME handling keypresses Mode: block 2 inhibitors listed. $
