Hello Robert,

could you elaborate a bit, what would you like to backup?

Configuration files, database and maybe the package repository, cobbler files etc etc

In other words, you want to be able to backup the Spacewalk server underneath itself. Unless you have a patch to propose, we are afraid this is beyond the scope of the WebUI functionality we are currently looking at, even for the RFE classification. The implications of being able to do it and do it properly are such that I don't see anybody working on this in foreseeable future.

Closing as WONTFIX, please reopen if you disagree, especially if you have a patch to contribute.

This BZ closed some time during 2.5, 2.6 or 2.7. Adding to 2.7 tracking bug.
