Description of problem: We ship openal-soft 1.14 whereas the latest upstream release is 1.15.1. Spec URL: http://fcami.fedorapeople.org/srpms/openal-soft.spec SRPM URL: http://fcami.fedorapeople.org/srpms/openal-soft-1.15.1-1.fc18.src.rpm Software depending on openal (supertuxkart, supertux) seems to behave correctly with the updated packages. supertux.spec builds correctly as well. I have added code to install the example C files shipped with openal-soft. This code is currently commented-out.
Hi, I see you've requested commit rights to openal-soft, I assume you intend to co-maintain? If so, welcome! We can certainly use someone giving some love and attention to openal-soft. Note when building the new version, please hold back for a while before updating F-17, as this may cause some regressions and people sticking with F-17 are likely doing that to try and avoid those :) Thanks, Hans
Hello Hans, I do intend to co-maintain :) I'll update rawhide and f18 updates-testing only. Thank you, François
