Created attachment 678156 [details] screen shot Description of problem: When a weak password is set in the root password dialog, it tells the user "Um es trotzdem zu verwenden, fahren Sie weiter" (see attached screen shot). This is supposed to mean "to use the password anyway, go ahead" This is wrong German and highly confusing. Grammatically correct the sentence would be "Um es trotzdem zu verwenden, fahren Sie fort" ("fahren Sie weiter" means "drive on", it is only used for driving vehicles. "fahren Sie fort" means "go ahead"). But "fahren Sie fort" still woudln't tell the user that he is supposed to click on "Fertig" (Done) a second time, so I'd suppose "Um es trotzdem zu verwenden, fahren Sie fort, indem Sie erneut auf 'Fertig' klicken'" Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): F18 RC4/GA How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use weak password during installation 2. 3. Actual results: See above Expected results: See above Additional info: -
Another suggestion: German: Um das Passwort dennoch zu verwenden, klicken Sie erneut auf "Fertig". or German: Um es dennoch zu verwenden, drücken Sie erneut auf "Fertig". or a mixed version. Less text. The "dennoch " (not "trotzdem") translation comes from Fedora-17. BR Dethlef
'Um das Passwort dennoch zu verwenden, klicken Sie erneut auf "Fertig".' -> good ("drücken" doesn't sound right to me).
String changed accordingly: 'Um das Passwort dennoch zu verwenden, klicken Sie erneut auf "Fertig".' Thank you for reporting this bug. String will appear correctly in Fedora release 20.
