I've located the problem in addUpdatedKey. The variable needs a local copy before null checking. Same problem in method isKeyUpdated ... Thanks for finding this!

This bug depends on a race condition and doesn't occur in 100% of cases, but I don't think it's worth running the test 5 times for it.

I haven't seen it in JDG 6.1.0.ER9 elasticity 1-4-1 dist mode test though, so I'm marking this verified.
