Created attachment 678679 [details] screenshot 'Administration > Software Update' fails with 'Could not get updates' and 'GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)'. See attached screenshot. 'yum update' works okay in a console dbus.x86_64 version : 1:1.4.10-7.fc17 It first appeared a couple of weeks ago after ... a software update. It is always reproducible. Let me know what additional information is needed to debug this.

When this bugs occur I am now seeing a PackageKit error that points to bug 901756. Is this a duplicate ?
