Description Weston Andros Adamson 2013-01-15 22:59:33 UTC
Description of problem:

sssd not running after reboot on system that has successfully run ipa-client-install causing logins (etc) of ipa users to fail.

tested on fresh install of F18 on both client and server.

Running "service enable sssd" fixes this.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

freeipa-client-3.1.0-2.fc18.x86_64
sssd-client-1.9.3-1.fc18.x86_64
sssd-1.9.3-1.fc18.x86_64

How reproducible:

Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run ipa-client-install
2. verify by logging in as ipa user
3. reboot
4. ! can no longer log in as same user
5. run "service sssd start"
6. now you can log in as ipa user

I should note that I tried running the client install several times:

 ipa-client-install --uninstall
 ipa-client-install
