Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 89799
ntpl-devel package requires install version of glibc-devel. There is no updated ntpl-devel package to match updated glibc-devel package.
Last modified: 2007-04-18 12:53:21 EDT
Description of problem:
The errata glibc-devel package cannot be installed. The install version of
ntpl-devel requires glibc-devel, but there is no updated version of ntpl-devel
to match the updated version of glibc-devel. This means that the updated
glibc-devel cannot be installed.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install RHL9, including the development packages
2. try to upgrade all the errata packages (rpm -Fvh *)
Actual Results: get failure on glibc-devel, becuase the installed nptl-devel
package requires the install version of glibc-devel.
Expected Results: There should be an updated version of ntpl-devel that will
work with the updated version of glibc-devel.
