Run EAP in standalone mode.  Navigate to Profile/General configuration/Interfaces.
Pick an interface and try to change any of its settings. No changes will be performed when you click "Save".

For the latest jbossas 7 nightly build, now it gives an error when you try to modify some values and tell you why it cannot accept those values. Marked as resolved. If you find any issues related to that Jira, please feel free to reopen it.
