project_key: JBPAPP6 See screenshot, we need higher resolution icon. Ideally why not customize the install icon with EAP branding and a small installer package? Also, the name is not set when installing in Gnome (not sure what options are to fix this).

Thanks for the great screenshot / succint JIRA.
Unfortunately this seems to be a limitation of the jar. Only icons that go under /usr/share/icons seem to properly show up at proper resolution. The ones inside the jar (regardless of resolution) show up stretched/pixelated. I tried using one from the izpack itself : http://s01.yyz.redhat.com/dmondega/pastebin/files/gnomeicon.png As you can see its perhaps a bit better. In the menu bar (top-left) reason for cut-off is because we provided one resolution image, in order to accomodate for that we'd have to provide different resolution ones. Do you think its worth it to pursue this goal with the end result looking somewhat like what i posted ? Let me know, if so i can file in a request to get proper graphics done and use those instead.

This is marked as wont fix Also the issue is trivial and release notes text look good.
Do we really need a release notes text for this jira? Thomas, IMO its best to mark this as Release Notes text not required as officially we do not support Fedora. This is not included in release notes in docs devel yet.
Reopening and assigning to Thomas to fix the release notes text field
