I see a similar screen as displayed in screenshot in JBPAPP-8111 using EAP6 CR1 on Fedora 17 Gnome on my laptop.

The shortcuts are all scattered and not submenued in F17.

I verified that EAP6 installer works on Fedora17 KDE.

I will lower the priority on this and mark it as feature request for future

Gnome3 does not follow the freedesktop specifications anymore! There is a mismatch between the path that gnome3 looks for the menu and the path defined in the freedesktop specification. That's why it worked fine in Gnome2 (and KDE 4.x) but not in Gnome3.


Solution is to write the .menu file in ~/.config/menus/application-gnome-merged/

Well this is not fixed as Gnome 3 does not seem to support it.I still get scattered items instead of submenued shortcuts but I believe this is more due to nature of gnome on F17.
F17 is also not supported platform so closing this issue.
