Description Madhumita Sadhukhan 2012-10-02 15:53:26 UTC
project_key: JBPAPP6

I would like to add one change

1) Shortcuts for server startup and shutdown should be named in better way

for eg Start EAP(/or JBOSS) Server(Standalone) etc.

The idea is more clarity

Curent naming looks fine on our currently supported platforms OS /desktops that support submenu but for eg in case of F17 the shortcuts all come scattered in Accessories and not grouped under JBOSS Platform(or EAp whatever you provide).

In such cases simply Start Server could be confusing as we could have multiple application servers in our system.

GNOME3 seems to truncate shortcut names (see attached image) so the distinction between standalone/domain gets lost. Also note that the shortcuts are being submenued properly now (See JBPAPP-9278)

F17 is not supported platform and gnome 3 has several behavioural differences hence closing this
