Comment 1 Dave Anderson 2013-01-18 19:21:42 UTC
I regularly update the rawhide version, whereas I only update the
released versions if there's a specific bug that renders the current
version unusable. Does crash-6.0.8-2.fc18 still work with whatever
kernel version is in F18?

In the case of the crash-6.1.0-1.fc17 version, that was done to make
the ppc32 people happy because the crash.spec file's ExclusiveArch
didn't contain "ppc".

On the other hand, the later the version, the better off you are. In fact,
I would suggest always using the rawhide version, which is up to
crash-6.1.2-1.fc19.

Comment 2 Bas Mevissen 2013-01-25 14:05:24 UTC
Because of the fact that a lot of people upgraded from fc17 to fc18, I would like to request a release of a fc18 version that takes preference over the fc17 one. This is to make sure we are using the crash package from the fc18 stream.

Comment 3 Dave Anderson 2013-01-25 14:08:32 UTC
I need to update the rawhide version within the next couple of weeks,
and at that time I will also push it to f18.

Comment 4 Bas Mevissen 2013-01-25 14:16:08 UTC
OK. I'm happy to test candidates. In the mean time, I manually downgraded to the latest fc18 build (http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=332478)

Comment 7 Vasilis Keramidas 2013-02-25 20:00:03 UTC
Package crash-6.1.4-1.fc18 seems to working!
I didn't tried if after the update from F17 to F18, crash also updates to latest version but i believe this is true!
