Description Reartes Guillermo 2013-01-28 10:51:13 UTC
Created attachment 688861 [details]
picture showing the abnornal network spoke (after the welcome screen) with a black horizontal band in the top of the screen.

Description of problem:

I installed F18 to my old EEE 701 and identified some issues, this is the most severe of them, because the NETWORK SPOKE will show up automatically if no interfaces could be configured automatically (via DHCP).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
F18 Release

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot without the Ethernet cable plugged
2. after the welcome screen, the network spoke will be partially functional

Actual results:

* The 'Done' button is not on the screen, and thus not clickable.
* Also the Hotkey ALT+D does NOT work. (!)

* To reach the MAIN HUB, one must click the FIRST Network Card (from 'UP') and
then issue a SHIFT+TAB "ONCE" and then hit ENTER. If no mistakes were made, one will reach the main hub.

Expected results:
Normal spoke. (For F19)

Note that the anaconda UI was not designed for such limited screen space, and as such doing anything here is going to be very low priority.

In fact, I'm going to go so far as to say we almost certainly are not going to have time to work on this, especially given that it's not within our target resolution, nor has it ever been.
