Description of problem: gmp-devel is required for plugin development but is not listed as a dependency of gcc-plugin-devel. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.1 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Verify that gmp-devel is not installed. 2. Install devtoolset-1.1-gcc-plugin-devel. 3. Build a plugin against this (for example odb from http://www.codesynthesis.com/products/odb/download.xhtml ) Actual results: Build fails because required headers are not available. Expected results: Installing gcc-plugin-devel should have also triggered the install of gmp-devel. Additional info: Mailing list posts about this issue can be found at: http://www.codesynthesis.com/pipermail/odb-users/2013-February/001027.html http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-devel/2013-February/009021.html
Verified for devtoolset-2-gcc-4.8.0-5.
Please let me know if I should open this as a separate bugzilla, but the spec file currently doesn't have Provide statements for gcc-c++ and gcc-plugin-devel to create the virtual package tags that can be used by other spec files.
