Description of problem:

Totem (Videos) has no menu entry for Preferences and for open file(s)

Totem 3.6.3-2.fc18
gnome-shell 3.6.2-6.fc18


How reproducible:

Start Videos (Totem) and the Preferences menu are not in menu View or any other menus. File -> Open items missing too.

No Preferences and no File open menu items.

Expected results:

Preferences and File Open menu items working.

So, Ctrl-O keyboard shortcut shows file open dialog, but I don't know keyboard shortcut for Preferences window.

Me too. Upgrade from fedora 17 to 18 via fedup. No open item in menu file and no preferencess.totem no prefs 3.6 fedoratotem no prefs 3.6 fedora

It's in the application menu, next to the "Activities" button.

Hi Bastien,

thanks for reply. May please provide screenshot (especially the "Next to the activities button" thing)?

I use some gnome-shell extension that replaces Activities button with applications menu, thats maybe a problem. So, is possible to turn off this behavior?

It's okay from gnome-shell, but what Preferences menu can be accessed if I login to cinnamon session?
