It would be great if steps to reproduce are provided. Current latest icehouse based gluster-swift code using devices = /mnt/gluster-object in object-server.conf file where it mounts the gluster volumes. There are now failures reported with this mount point name having '-' in it. So this is "Not a Bug ". I thought to assign it back to Paul. Adding QA contact.
I feel the BZ was about auto-mount check feature we had in earlier version of gluster-swift.As there is no auto mount check in the current upstream version of gluster-swift, and there is no problem so far observed with any hostname family, I am marking this as verified. Open a new BZ with steps to reproduce if problem persist.
