Description Frantisek Hanzlik 2013-02-18 14:21:53 UTC
Description of problem:
Fedora 18 installer not allow select and install packages for additional languages support. This is serious problem. And I'm perhaps no one who need it.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
anaconda 18.37.11

Additional info:
F18 installation guide, chapter 4.1.1 says about language support:
"
4.4.1. Language Coverage
Fedora features a variety of software that is translated in many languages. For a list of languages refer to the translation statistics for the Anaconda module, which is one of the core software applications in Fedora.

    http://translate.fedoraproject.org/languages
    http://translate.fedoraproject.org/module/anaconda
"
But these links are nonfunctional now.

This is on the schedule for F19, via bringing back the language spoke and letting you pick there.

Comment 2 Radek Vykydal 2013-04-24 16:52:13 UTC
The spoke should be there in F19 Beta.
Also new lang --addsupport kickstart option was added.
