Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description David Kaylor 2013-02-18 15:56:00 UTC
Description of problem:
Imported manifest provides no products or repositories

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1.2

How reproducible:
Download RHEL manifest from https://access.redhat.com and import with web UI. Check products and Red Hat content repositories.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Downloaded manifest file for 10 RHEL servers from https://access.redhat.com.
2. Go to Subscriptions > Red Hat Subscriptions in web UI and click Import Manifest
3. Choose downloaded manifest file and click Upload
4. Check Details, Products, Units for the Subscription. Nothing is listed under products or units
5. Check Repositories > Red Hat Repositories. No products listed.

Actual results:
No products or RHEL repositories available

Expected results:
Products and RHEL repositories available

Additional info:
The start and end dates for the subscription are 03/16/2012 - 03/16/2013, but Katello shows 2012-03-17 for both the start and end dates.

Comment 1 Tom McKay 2013-02-18 16:03:47 UTC
Please run 'katello-debug' and attach the tar.gz file here. Also attaching the manifest would be very helpful in reproducing.

Mark both as "private" when you attach the files.

Comment 2 David Kaylor 2013-02-19 17:43:12 UTC
Sorry, but I do not see a way to mark an attachment as private. Do I need to attach it first?

Comment 3 Og Maciel 2013-02-19 18:39:31 UTC
The screen where you attach a file has an option to mark it as private. Should be a checkbox.

Comment 4 David Kaylor 2013-02-19 19:55:53 UTC
Created attachment 699616 [details]

I do not have a checkbox for private on the attachment screen. See the attached screenshot.

Moving to Sat6 to be tracked there. Upstream bugs are moving to redmine.

Comment 6 Bryan Kearney 2014-01-21 20:09:35 UTC
This is working upstream.

Comment 9 Corey Welton 2014-08-06 20:41:51 UTC
I am going to consider this verified. I have not seen issues with listing products/repositories for quite some time. We can reopen if more details are filed or if it continues to occur.

This was delivered with Satellite 6.0 which was released on 10 September 2014.
