#0 0x00007f5ed5a2de60 in pthread_join (threadid=140044227172096,
#1  0x00007f5ed283bcb3 in psp::CUPSManager::checkPrintersChanged(bool)

so it appears to be blocked waiting for the cups thread to finish, which is doing...

#1 0x00007f5e9c42201f in _httpWait () from /lib64/libcups.so.2

so it looks like cups is stuck trying to take to the cups server

What happens if you run...

lpstat.cups -p -d

Hopefully that'll hang too :-)

Comment 4 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 14:07:44 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)

Comment 5 Marcela Mašláňová 2014-06-09 12:24:04 UTC
lpstat.cups -p -d
lpstat: No destinations added.
no system default destination

I can assure you I print by cups, so... Anyway why impress is trying to use cups? I don't have F18 anymore.

Comment 6 Tim Waugh 2014-06-09 13:46:01 UTC
Does impress still hang? It would be useful to see a current backtrace along with 'rpm -q cups libreoffice-impress'.

Comment 7 Marcela Mašláňová 2014-06-09 14:05:51 UTC
It usually hangs before important presentation and I have none soon. Feel free to close it, I can reopen if I see it again.
