snapshot debug log

Description of problem:

Ref: https://openshift.redhat.com/community/forums/openshift/rhc-snapshot-always-fail

thor@ubuntu:~/openshift/backups$ rhc snapshot save -a smarthor --timeout 3600
Password: ******

Pulling down a snapshot to smarthor.tar.gz...
Running extra dump for mongodb-2.2
MongoDB already running
Write failed: Broken pipe
Error in trying to save snapshot. You can try to save manually by running:
ssh 389e14c319eb41ea9ae2786bd189320e.com 'snapshot' >
smarthor.tar.gz

User tried to play with the timeout but its not helping either.

Attached is the debug log from rhc snapshot command.

This should be a bug against the "Node" component and they'll need to investigate.

Comment 2 Jhon Honce 2013-02-26 00:38:05 UTC
As of devenv_2859, I cannot reproduce the problem.

Comment 3 Sumana Annam 2013-02-27 17:51:44 UTC
Broken pipe error is no good; what options does the user have?

Comment 4 Sumana Annam 2013-03-06 22:19:05 UTC
Found the root cause to the problem; see https://openshift.redhat.com/community/forums/openshift/write-failed-broken-pipe-0#comment-28210
