Description Stephen Gordon 2013-02-25 15:55:05 UTC
Description of problem:

Walking a user through a packstack installation in #fedora-cloud and they pointed out that the interactive prompt doesn't tell them how to present the list.

packstack/plugins/prescript_000.py: "USAGE" : "Comma separated list of NTP servers. Leave plain if Packstack should not install ntpd on instances.",
packstack/plugins/prescript_000.py: "PROMPT" : "Enter list of NTP server(s). Leave plain if Packstack should not install ntpd on instances.",

Additional info:

<spstarr> Enter list of NTP server(s). Leave plain if Packstack should not install ntpd on instances.:
<spstarr> a comma separated or space?
<spstarr> comma says doc
<sgordon__> yeah i think comma but i will make a note to file that on the message the utility prints

Comment 3 Nir Magnezi 2013-03-03 13:08:24 UTC
Verified NVR: openstack-packstack-2012.2.3-0.1.dev454.el6ost.noarch

packstack now specifies how to present the NTP servers list:

# packstack
Welcome to Installer setup utility
Enter the path to your ssh Public key to install on servers [/root/.ssh/id_rsa.pub] :
<snip>
Enter a comma separated list of NTP server(s). Leave plain if Packstack should not install ntpd on instances.:
