That's exactly what it does and what it has done for years. It's a feature I use very often, for example. URLs it just opens with "firefox %s" by default. > 2. click green line (default colouring) Green? Which desktop environment do you refer to? Can you attach a screenshot, at least?
Created attachment 702545 [details] link in claws-mail message png shows the link in the mail message within the red oval. when I tried again after comment from Michael Schwendt following the link worked. bug can be deleted, XQQ
What the screenshot shows is not a default GNOME desktop. Not even the green colour is the default. The symptoms of the crash sound much like a graphics driver problem.
the screenshot is from claws-mail in LXDE from the official Fedora 18 spin. in LXDE ths colour is default (I never changed it, not even in previous Fedora 16 GNOME 3 use of claws). agree on the *might be* graphical problem since my system has a nvidia card. the problem first showed when I used the F18 default nouveau graphical driver but persisted after I installed the akmod nvidia drivers from rpmfusion-nonfree-updates/18/x86_64 because the freeze only showed after following a link in claws-mail I thought it might have to do with claws. I use no other mail client on this system. now the freezes do not come back the cause might be in the--meanwhile updated--akmod-nvidia instead of claws.
