Description Ruben Kerkhof 2013-02-26 09:51:39 UTC
Description of problem:

Running mysql-mmm-monitor standalone on a monitoring host (so without the agent) fails. If you run mmm_mond in debug mode, the logs show:

Can't locate Time/HiRes.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/lib64/perl5 /usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 .) at /usr/share/perl5/Net/Ping.pm line 313, <STDIN> line 1.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

[root@db-mmm ~]# rpm -q mysql-mmm-monitor
mysql-mmm-monitor-2.2.1-1.el6.noarch

This bug is for EPEL, since I hit it there but I suspect this also goes for the Fedora package.

Hi BJ, any chance to get this bug fixed?
If you don't have time I can check it in as well.

Kind regards,

Ruben

Comment 2 BJ Dierkes 2013-08-02 04:28:34 UTC
I am no longer the maintainer, and mysql-mmm is currently orphaned as I no longer work for the company that required this package. I thought that a previous co-worker was going to pick this package up, however it appears that they did not.

Comment 3 Ruben Kerkhof 2013-08-05 08:42:04 UTC
Hey BJ,

Ah, no problem, I hadn't noticed you orphaned it.
Since my company uses it a lot, I'll take it over.

Your co-worker is always welcome to join as a co-maintainer.

Kind regards,

Ruben
