Description Aaron Weitekamp 2013-02-27 16:33:59 UTC
Description of problem:
The process for RHN manifest setup and download has changed. The concept of distributors has been replaced by applications. Please update SystemEngine User Guide section 5.3 to reflect RHN changes. See SAM documentation:
https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Customer_Portal/1/html-single/Red_Hat_Network_Certificate-based_Subscription_Management/index.html#managing-sam

getting rid of 6.0.0 version since that doesn't exist

Comment 3 Athene Chan 2013-09-30 04:11:55 UTC
Hi Aaron,

Since System Engine has changed to Satellite 6.0, we have addressed this change in the MDP1 version of Satellite 6.0. The manifest section has been modified as:
http://documentation-devel.engineering.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Satellite/6.0/html/User_Guide/chap-Content_Management.html#sect-Using_the_Red_Hat_Content_Provider

Does this also need to be changed in CloudForms System Engine 1.1? (I feel like it should be fine to let the System Engine documents remain as they are as System Engine has been removed from CloudForms.)

Comment 4 Aaron Weitekamp 2013-09-30 13:49:15 UTC
I don't believe we are actively supporting CF System Engine so I don't think we need to update the CFSE docs.

Comment 5 Athene Chan 2013-09-30 22:24:13 UTC
Thanks Aaron. I'll close this bz now as no further action is required.
