Description Clark Williams 2013-03-04 22:53:23 UTC
Lost the commit labeled:

[mrg] introduce AFTER_LINK variable

which does a debugedit for build-ids. This was present in our 3.2 kernel but was lost in the update to 3.6.

Without this commit 'perf annotate' or systemtap will not function correctly.

Note the link logic was moved to scripts/link-vmlinux.sh so a slightly different
solution is required.

I opened up a new bz before I saw this one, marking this one as a duplicate.
