Description Zoltan Hoppar 2013-03-06 12:42:48 UTC
Description of problem:
On my machine suspend and hibernate works partially, because I can send to sleep or hibernate properly, just after resume the fan turns to max, and can't be turned down back to normal.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
I guess pm-suspend and, pm-hibernate, acpi works, just I don't know why keeps my cooling unstoppable on full speed after resume or hibernate.

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Send the machine to sleep, or hibernate - no matter of closing the lid or from command.
2. Try to resume the machine, everything returns correctly, except the fan goes crazy.

Actual results:
Laptop cooling is a hairdryer after resume/hibernate.

Expected results:
Normal speed cooling after resume.

Additional info:
pm-utils-1.4.1-22.fc18.x86_64
kernel 3.8.1-201.fc18.x86_64 #1 SMP

It is probably dupe of bug 902693, but indeed an kernel issue, reassigning to kernel.
