Description Zdenek Kabelac 2013-03-11 10:13:23 UTC
Description of problem:

My continuously updated rawhide (i.e. it's been installed with ~F8) report this error via journal:

linux kernel: mmc0: SDHCI controller on PCI [0000:15:00.2] using DMA
linux pcmcia-socket-startup[172]: chdir to /etc/pcmcia failed: No such file or directory

So it seem dracut is not create /etc/pcmcia dir ?
Not sure what is the proper fix here?

My extra dracut option from defaults are:

hostonly="yes"
mdadmconf="no"
lvmconf="no"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
pcmciautils-018-4.fc19.x86_64
dracut-026-1.fc19.x86_64

Do you need pcmcia for booting?

Comment 2 Zdenek Kabelac 2013-03-11 10:45:37 UTC
Nope, since I do not have any pcmcia device.

Comment 3 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 14:40:36 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
