Description ian.odette 2013-03-11 16:49:18 UTC
Description of problem:
I plugged in an ethernet cable. My bios is set to disable the wireless hardware in the presence of an ethernet connection so the wifi turned off.

Potential duplicate: bug 869204

Comment 1 Stanislaw Gruszka 2013-03-12 18:02:49 UTC
This looks like follow up of 919176, or happened after system reboot ?

Comment 2 ian.odette 2013-03-12 18:22:31 UTC
This did happen several days after bug 919176 and the system had been powered off several times since then, it did not happen immediately after rebooting though.

Comment 3 Stanislaw Gruszka 2013-03-13 09:16:45 UTC
I suspect this can be also similar issue as on previous bug report, i.e. iwlwifi firmware problem, please attach dmesg.

dmesg file for the incident

Comment 5 Stanislaw Gruszka 2013-03-14 10:38:45 UTC
This really looks similarly like bug 919176, two microcode errors and then WARNING. Though warning is different, it is a consequence of iwlwifi firmware problems.
