Thanks for a bug report. It seems like an image cache reuses the same image from the previously shown email. The images in both messages are named Image0. If I close evolution and view them in the reverse order, then evolution shows the other image in both messages.

I'm moving this upstream as [1]. Please see [1] for any further updates.
