Description of problem: Updated via PackageKit yesterday... next boot was very slow but worked; put computer to sleep and when I woke it up, wlan wasn't available. Now after rebooting, wireless networking is still unavailable. NetworkManager segfaults whenever invoked, whether at book or by adding/removing a wireless card. If you're able, can you: yum reinstall NetworkManager and see if the problem re-appears? Its quite odd that it should be crashing in exactly this place; at the moment I suspect disk corruption. Lets rule that out first. THanks!

Yes, I had already started to wonder if my disk might be corrupt, if I had time to scan the rpm man page properly this morning I'd have done an rpm -Va already. That'll be the first thing I do when I get home tonight, and depending on the result I'll either try the NetworkManager reinstall or burn the whole thing down and try a fresh install.
Enough files showed up as MD5 doesn't match but mtime did that I just couldn't trust my install any more. After a full OS reinstall, NetworkManager appears to be behaving itself though. Sorry to waste your time.
